I had entered my car in the separate category section of the challenge and won best UNDERHOOD. A red 1966 mustang took 5th place. I like how they ran this contest. First off, Duplicolor picked 5 people they thought was worthy. (that already is a HUGE compliment) Then they arranged it so that you had to vote on 3, not just your favorite, which makes voting for your friend more difficult. And third, you may not of notice, but the position of each entry changes. Meaning, no one is always the first one at the top. It cycles.

Cool thing is, the "after" pic has the redmustangs.com decal shown (at least legible when clicked on) I have since gotten a new hood (true Cobra R) and need to apply a new one.

Well, I finally got the check. On Aug 15th I won. The affadavit was mailed to me on the 27th of September. Check was printed on the 28th of Oct. And today, Nov 19th, I finally got it.

Due to the time lapse, heres where the money is going:

$400 on 2 new tires for the mustang
$50 on a 3rd passenger window motor
$40 for inspection
$80 registration

Looks like the winning car is going to be using the winnings on itself rather than on its owner.
